A good neighbourhood plays a vital part when moving to a new home. Let us introduce you to your star neighbours that you might get across on one or another Caribbean island.

Leonardo DiCaprio

In 2005, the Oscar winner purchased the island called Blackadore Caye in the Caribbean Sea. DiCaprio decided to transform it into an eco luxury resort.

In 2011 the Colombian singer teamed up with some of her friends to buy an island in the Bahamas. Bonds Cay is currently worth $13 million. There is plenty of white sand beaches, plus three salt pond lakes and a private cove beach.

Shakira has been planning to turn the island into a carbon-neutral luxury paradise.

Julia Roberts

The actress has bought herself an island in the Bahamas as a private residence. Due to respect to Julia’s private life, not much details are known to the general public.

Eddie Murphy

Murphy purchased Rooster Cay for $12 million in 2007. The comedian owns over 6 hectares of pristine tropical land not far away from Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas. With no big plans for the resort and such, he possibly enjoys a quiet lifestyle on the island when in residence.

Nicolas Cage

Back in 2006, Nick Cage purchased an exclusive island in the Exhuma island chain, Bahamas. The island features 45 acres, full of pristine sandy beaches and a few private coves. Given its remote location, Cage really wanted to have a quiet place for vacation time. Unfortunately, the island completely undeveloped and barely has any infrastructure whatsoever.

Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp is also the proud owner of his own island hideaway. When filming the first Pirates of the Caribbean film, Depp discovered a beautiful Little Halls Pond Cay in the Bahamas and bought the island in 2004. There six marvelous beaches perfect for a leisure pastime. Depp travels to and from the island on his yacht.
